About Me

Hey there,

My name is Eric Wong and I’m a strength and conditioning coach to UFC fighters and other professional and amateur combat sports athletes.

I’ve been working with fighters since 2006 and have worked with a lot of different guys over the years.

I’ve created this site because one thing I’ve noticed with all of the athletes I’ve trained is extremely poor technique with Olympic lifting exercises such as the Snatch and Clean and Jerk.

Whenever I work with guys I always do a full assessment and history and if they tell me they’ve done the Olympic lifts before, I’ll take a look at their form.

I rarely see crisp technique from these athletes and I’m sure many people who are currently doing them in gyms around the world have poor technique as well.

I also know there are a lot of guys out there who want to start using the Olympic lifts but want to know how to perform them properly before beginning.

If you fall into this category, this site is for you.

So stick around, explore, make sure you check out everything I’ve got to offer and let me know how it’s all going by leaving a Comment on one of the articles here on OlympicLifting.net.
